Marion County Planning Division Holding Town Hall on East Salem Affordable Housing

SALEM, Ore. – Feb 17, 2022 – The Marion County Planning Division is hosting a town hall meeting from 6:00 – 7:00 PM on March 3, 2022, at the Senator Hearing Room, 555 Court St. NE, Salem, to discuss middle housing options in East Salem. 

Middle Housing describes housing options that are between single family homes and apartments, and include duplexes, triplexes, townhomes, cottage clusters, and more. 

The Planning Division is seeking public input on what housing opportunities will be best for established and prospective East Salem residents. 

There will also be a virtual option via Zoom for individuals who are unable to attend in person. Registration is currently open at: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_XrIwDnn2RE2OBZjyconlYQ.

Spanish interpretation will be available at the meeting. Requests for additional accommodations can be sent to the Planning Division at planning@co.marion.or.us as far in advance of the meeting as possible.
